Dear EMC/SI Colleagues 17th International Zurich Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility Feb 28-March 3, 2006, Singapore http://www.emc-zurich.org/ CALL FOR PAPERS The 17th International Zurich Symposium and Technical Exhibition on Electromagnetic Compatibility will be held in Singapore from Tuesday, Feb 28. through Friday, March 3, 2006. EMC-Zurich started in 1975, for the first time, EMC Zurich takes place outside Europe. Singapore has been selected to host EMC Zurich not only because of its strategic location but also because of its excellent business climate, fabulous facilities and world-class research centers. We will follow our tradition and offer you a rich scientific program of highest quality with invited speakers from all over the world. As in the past we will provide a broad forum of exchange both for academia and industry alike. The symposium will cover the entire scope of electromagnetic compatibility. Prospective authors are invited to submit original papers on their latest research results. We also solicit proposals for Topical Meetings, Workshops and Tutorials. The topics shall cover : EMC Management, EMC Measurement Techniques , EMC Testing techniques, Standards& Regulations, EM Environment , Power System EMC, Lightning, System-Level EMC, EMC in Electronic Packaging, IC Chip EMC, ransportation EMC, PCB EMC, Signal Integrity, EMC Innovation, EMC Protection, EMC in Wireless Communication, Automotive EMC, Computational Electromagnetics, Bio-Medical EMC, Electromagnetic Product Safety and EMC in Nanoelectronics. Important Dates Proposals for workshops, tutorials and topical meetings May 30, 2005 Preliminary paper submissions for regular sessions (4 pages in PDF format only), September 10, 2005 Notification of acceptance November 5, 2005 Final paper submission December 19, 2005 Details on the symposium website: www.emc-zurich.org Proposals for Workshops, Tutorials and Topical Meetings Prospective organizers/speakers for workshops, tutorials and topical meetings are invited to submit the title and abstract to the Technical Programme CO-Chair: Prof Jianguo Ma, at email: ejgma@xxxxxxxxxx Paper Submission Prospective Authors are invited to submit a preliminary paper up to 4 pages in length including title, author¡¯s affiliation, abstract, figures and references. One additional page should contain the paper title, author¡¯s affiliation, name of the correspondence author, his address, tel/fax No. and e-mail. On the same page you should clearly summarize the novelty of your contribution and indicate the desired technical areas (max 2). The papers are requested to submit on-line via /www.emc-zurich.org/, and must be in electronic format (PDF) on-line. A word template is available on the symposium website. No hardcopies accepted. Papers considered for the student prize are expected to be predominantly the work of the student. Papers co-authored by a student and his advisor are eligible, provided the student is the principal author and also the presenter. Exhibition Registration The technical exhibition on EMC and RF/Microwave Measurements and Instrumentation will be the major accompanying event of EMC-Zurich in Singapore in 2006.
