What she said. Amen. Penny in NC The Farm Dog Forever ********************************** Hi Cheryl. Of course you need to realize none of us spoke to the man to "read into" some of his attitude so we might be advising you wrong...BUT... FIRST...since you are asking these questions I would assume you sense a problem!? I agree with Kathy. The man did not trust you...nor your Vet...and it doesn't sound like you trust him either. He is contacting you again after contacting numerous breeders, and I suspect he probably couldn't get a puppy from them either . They likely sensed the same "pain" that Kathy mentioned. <G> If he didn't trust you to begin with...and you were 'put off' to begin with... typically things won't change. The first time he checks with you for advice or a question or on a perceived problem and you try to advise him, he is not going to listen because the trust simply is not there. Buyers MUST trust you for you to be able to help them over "puppy hurdles"...on their own behavior or the puppy's behavior or simple care or mistakes. I would do exactly as Kathy said.....tell him the pups were spoken for...but be willing to listen to him and answer any more questions he may have. At this point it is not a relationship built on trust. Maybe he'll be back and you will both change your concerns. Carolyn marhaven@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx www.marhaven.com
