White markings on the dogs are not caused by the white dog. It is caused by a 
spotting gene. There are many show GSDs today that have white markings on their 
chest, toes, chins and have no whites in their lines. 

As for the Pandas, I, as many white GSD owners are against them being part of 
the GSD breed. Unlike the whites that were part of the breed from the 
beginning, the Panda is supposedly a newer genetic mutation. Regardless of what 
caused it, good white breeders do not promote it. Most of the Panda movement 
has come out of breeders that also believe in separating the whites into a 
different breed.

We only have our own white shows because after the DQ, the white fanciers 
wanted a way to continue to evaluate the dogs so they could move the whites 
forward. The GSDCA is still the white dog's parent club. If the DQ was raised 
in all venues, we won't have a need for our own shows.

Lloyd Brackett utilized a bitch called Nyx of Longworth.....and she was kind of
an off-white.    He paid a price with a lot of white markings on some of his 
black and tan dogs too....... and admitted it.
No one has ever condemned those that have stayed true to loving and breeding
the white GSD.   There will always be a place for them in the dog world.
You have to admit.......they are more beautiful and correct now.   Ever since 
they
were DQ'd there has been a steady improvement in them in my opinion.
Might be the best thing that happened to them.....and when they have a litter 
they
are WANTED.    Many were disposing of whites in their litters before from what
I have heard.
Personally I think they are much better off now.    They have their own shows 
and
Champions and they have their own Nationals with their own High Awards....and
they are very careful about preserving their dogs and where they are going with 
them.
I don't think they have one thing to gain by again being a part of our Standard 
again ........and neither do we.........as per sites like Panda Shepherds, etc.
