Subject: AKC Clubs Opposed to PAWS
CROSSPOSTED FROM PET-LAW
The number of parent breed clubs that have verified their opposition to PAWS
with a letter to Congress has been stuck at 28 for a while. These clubs
represent 57.3% of all AKC registrations. See PAWS opponents

If the following clubs verified their PAWS positions that same way, we would be
able to show the Senate and the media 44 clubs representing 69.8% of all AKC
registrations oppose this ill-conceived and devastating bill.

American Maltese Association
Doberman Pinscher Club of America
Collie Club of America
Staffordshire Terrier Club of America
Field Spaniel Society of America
Borzoi Club of America
Silky Terrier Club of America
American Chinese Crested Club
American Belgian Tervuren Club
Sussex Spaniel Club of America
American Fox Terrier Club
American Bouvier des Flandres Club
American Manchester Terrier Club
The National Beagle Club of America Board of Directors meets on November 11,
2005 and may take a PAWS vote. Should the beaglers oppose PAWS, the percentage
opposed would jump to 74.4%, an astounding repudiation of PAWS. Over 320 clubs
have already taken this KEY verification step and we need more to do so to
effectively lobby against PAWS.
Please spread the word far and wide.
