Roccal is a disinfectant. When I worked in animal hospitals, we used it all the time. It smells great, too. My niece is a veterinarian, and we were talking recently and her hospital uses it, so it's still a good thing 20 years later. She loves the smell. Funny. Below is the link. http://www.pfizerah.com/Product_Overview.aspx?drug=RP&country=US&lang=EN&species=FL Keep reading after I say this (lol): Mind you, it's $75 a gallon. If you buy it, buy the pump thingy to screw on the top, which costs about 2 bucks. Now, my Roccal is out in kennel, but I believe you use 1 ounce to gallon of water. I say "I believe" because it's been years and I just know that I use 1 squirt to 2 gallons of mop water. If you figure it out, it's actually cheaper/same to buy Roccal as it is to buy other kennel disinfectants. I bought a gallon of something at Sam's Club, and I was actually paying about 150 dollars compared to the Roccal price because I needed to use about 3-4 ounces of the stuff. Roccal is effective with cold water. It doesn't corrode your chain link, like bleach will. Whatever you use anyway you're supposed to alternate. Bleach makes me sick for the rest of the day, so I avoid it. I had called Pfizer and they said that you can premix it and it will hold its efficacy for 21 days, so I also make a spray bottle of it when I have a litter. It's easy enough -- when pups are 3 weeks old, I make new mix, 6 weeks, another. Hey, it kills Mycoplasma. Also, I bought a battery-operated garden sprayer. Load that up with Roccal mix, strap it on your back (hehe) and spray those walls. I love that sprayer. No more pumping pointlessly. There's the link for that. http://www.gardendesert.com/products/?view=product&product_id=3574 Jodi Distilli www.dinovagsd.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Yvonne Martin" <vonmartin@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <djdistilli@xxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, March 30, 2009 10:15 AM Subject: Re: [ SHOWGSD-L ] whelping box floor > Hi Jodi, > > What is Roccal?
