I must agree with Kathy on this one. Rally is fast becoming the new venue to 
show your dog in. And a lot of money can be made for regional clubs. With 
little effort on the clubs part and not to mention no real equipment to 
purchase to get  up and running. Clubs are even making money on fun matches. 
People who are involved in the performance events do try and proof their 
dogs. But you can't proof for everything. I show my dogs in breed and 
obedience and I try and respect the people of both venues. Our regional 
clubs could very well take advantage of this new sport called Rally and 
welcome new people to our clubs by offering a place to compete that is well 
thought out for both the performance people as well as the breed people.
