Yes, they can grow out of it, I have seen it before however make very sure that the bite is completely straight. If not you could be working with a wry mouth. Also it should not be more than 1/8th -1/4 inch. if it is way more than that I would probably let her go into a pet home. Also if it is going to straighten out it should be most of the way there once through teething, although I had one that took until she was a year but it was not to far out of wack...
