DE comes in two types food grade and the grade used for pools and insecticides.
Farmers put it into the feed to kill insects, on dung heeps to keep down flies
and the cows even roll in it to keep flies off of the. Some gets in the grain,
of corse, so you've probably eaten DE w/o knowing.
