I saw it, and decided to throw it away. It was a request to judge a
Futurity. I am not sure if that falls under the umbrella of a show
solicitation or
not. But, I see no particular reason to cause a problem for someone who
wants
to judge our national match. I do realize it is against AKC rules as to
a show,
but I think it was not done with malice, perhaps with a
misunderstanding of
the intent.
AKC rules allow solicitation for match assignments. And, since the
futurity is essentially a match show, no AKC rules are broken if someone
solicits a futurity assignment.
