Oklahoma has parts?

I only know they live in Canute, OK 73626.  Does that help?

I know these kids, and they are great. They also are talented, but it is
hard to support them from California.

By this logic, Best Puppy would be hot on the heels of the Amateur Futurity.
I'm always appalled when the ring starts coming down when the judge is pinning
Best Puppy and the number of people folding tents.  As the photographer at some
shows this makes taking BP pictures very difficult...  :-)

Move them to your house in CA.  Problem solved.  Great Mentor.  Great dogs,
Lots of shows.  And, it won;t be hard to support them.

Think outside the box.

Canute is 100 miles to Oklahoma City.  There are some good folks there and a
good GSD Club. It is to the west.    That's as helpful as I can be from Fort
Worth!  Was hoping they were closer.

The truth is, not many care about Best Puppy either.  Those who own or
bred the puppies care, but most of ringside don't.  I actually didn't even
spend a great deal of time on it, until I started to show puppies more. Now,
when I judge Best Puppy, I give it a lot more effort than I used to.

But, you can see what lack of interest there is. Most of those around the
ring are on the way to their car.

I would love to do that. But Tedi and I would have to move out, and what
does that do?  I live in a very small house, with lots of outside dog runs.
Maybe I could move into one of them.

It was 90 out today with a mild breeze.  This is the place to be. Dog
class tomorrow.

The correct answer is you should DQ it since it has been trimmed. Of
course, if you do it in today's society you had better be darn sure since we
live in a sue happy society. Shut up Evan. If shown as a long coat it is only a
fault, once it is cut it then becomes a dq.

If you are judging an AKC confirmation show  and you have a dog/bitch who
is a shaved/trimmed long coat, how would you  handle this situation and
why?  The answer might require that you  read the AKC rules.
Second part:  How does one tell that the animal  you are looking at is a

Dear FWGSDC Members and Friends of the FWGSDC!
The Fort Worth German Shepherd Dog Club invites you to join us on March 22nd
and 23rd for a one-of-a-kind fun filled and educational weekend!

Dr. Morton Goldfarb will judge our 2013 Specialty in Ft Worth on March 22. Show
Superintendant is Onofrio. FWGSDC is part of the Texas Combined Specialties
group. That evening, Dr. Goldfarb will give a seminar on structure and movement
of the GSD, with Judge's dinner after.
The following day, March 23rd at 10am, we will hold a German style Conformation
Match with Dr. Goldfarb judging and critiquing the dogs at Randol Mill Park in
Arlington.  We will have in addition to the regular classes, classes for long
coats, veterans and spayed and neutered dogs.

Attached is also our flyer with all the important information.  Please help us
spread the word.

Thanks to Pam Day, entering your dogs for the show and match, as well as
registering for the seminar and dinner is simplified.  Just click on the
attached link and you will have all the information necessary at the tip of
your fingers.

Thank you all for your support of our biggest event of the year!  We hope it
will be educational and lots of fun.  We would be so happy to see you at one,
two or all three of the events.

None of this would be possible without all the club members that have and are
volunteering their time to make this possible.    A big thank you.

In the sport,

Maren Friedhoff

Thanks!
