Keep the faith. I am answering e-mails with an almost 11 year old CH at my feet (finished with ease the weekend he turned 2). His last litter just turned 9 months old. He isn't a fluke, several of his kids, also very correct, the oldest I have is eight, are laying here too. (Yes, I have multiple boys together). It's not an "either/or"...he has 2 working titles and naturally his TC. You don't have to compromise on temperament or health. But it sure sounds like you've been through hell and for that I am truly sorry.
