I guess it would have to change when you start taking money for handling. I
would think it would be like the amateur status in any sport, but then again
they let some professional sports figures play in the Olympics. I wonder what
guidelines they will use for this class? It should be interesting.

Cheri weighs in at 47 pounds and is clearly emaciated! She was found wandering
he train tracks when picked up by Animal control. She is on borrowed time and
e are woefully short on foster homes! There is also a senior boy in DeKalb
ounty Ga who is in a similar physical condition. This facility is NO SHELTER. I
m told that they animals are left to fight for whatever food they can get.
t this giving time of the year, if you have a spare crate or corner and you
ive in an area adjacent to these two, please consider opening your heart to
ither of them!
here is a 4 month old male pup in Blackwood NJ...GORGEOUS baby in case someone
ut there is looking for a GSD pup. He was an owner surrender and his name is

ook for an update from LHSH over this coming weekend!

Take a look at PETA's new TV commercial. Friends in the East say its getting
RIME air time: http://www.peta.org/feat/abc/video2.asp
If you want to fight back, donate to the National Animal Interest Alliance
nd the NAIA Trust (www.naiaonline.org). We need an NRA-type organization to
ollect money and spend it telling the truth. NAIA has started an on-line
helter Project that shows ACTUAL disposition of shelter dogs in each state.
t's not complete yet but you can see it here:
ttp://www.naiashelterproject.org/charts_map.cfm
In Michigan, for example, we euthanize about 50,000 dogs a year, or about
.1% of all the dogs in the state. Even if every euthanized dog were
doptable and adopted, we would still need about 200,000 new dogs a year to
eplace the roughly 250,000 dogs a year that die in Michigan (from natural
auses). States like Massachusetts and California have done such a good job
hat their shelters are now adopting dogs from Puerto Rico, Taiwan and other
hird world countries.
We have the truth and they have lies. They have money to put their lies on
elevision. If we don't all act fast, the big lie of canine overpopulation
ill destroy us.
Permission to forward.

FLASH...LATEST NEWS...
PREVIOUSLY-ANNOUNCED 2009 DATE CHANGE FOR WESTMINSTER
ESCINDED BY GARDEN; SHOW TO BE HELD ON FEB 9-10, 2009
The previously-announced date change for the 2009 Westminster Kennel

how, Westminster's 133rd annual event, will be held on its original

Hi Everyone -

ere's a reminder about our Fun Matches coming up the end of December!

ates are Saturday, December 29th and December 30th. First day is hosted by the
reater Twin Cities Dalmatian Club (gotta do those things for AKC to continue to
old Specialties) and the following day is hosted by the Animal Inn Juniors Fund
fund raising for special doggy activities involving Juniors)..

emember Midwesterners, there are very few if ANY training classes before the
ig January Cluster the first weekend in January at the St. Paul River Centre.
nd the classes we do have will be HUGE! Take this opportunity to train those
oung dogs, get your puppies out and maybe enter potential Specials and Major
ointed dogs in the Exhibition class.

ur judging panel is as good or better than any all-breed show :-) and if the
SD people talk nice to me, I might consider catering a bit to their needs :-)

f anyone would like a flyer, please let me know. I want a great turnout out and
know it will be fun! Barring no snowstorms!

I once had a bitch cycle like this and discovered that she would conceive,
ut only every other cycle, so the trick is figuring out which cycles are
he "fertile" season. She had 3 healthy litters but also missed a few times

Sorry about my "word mess up understanding" concerning stacking.
he word FOR those 4 legs rather than WITH those 4 legs
ould make it a bit more clear to some folks reading my note.
did indicate WHERE THE POWER BEGINS with or for those 4 legs!
ake your pick, but I think most folks understood what I meant!!
owever, it could easily be translated into "the power of transmission
EGINS in the rear with those 4 legs" --- in other words NOT
EGINNING IN THE FRONT, OR SIDE with those 4 legs!
s in -- we DO have 4 wheel drive in some autos and there
re front wheel drives as well -------- same situation with any
ertain type of movement.
As I mentioned also, dogs needing strong trasmission pretty
uch the same as in the sled dogs (4 wheel drive) in my note!
R placement of the legs in motion - either each of the 4 legs
iving a track - square - depending on the use or original purpose
esignated for what ever breed mentioned. Same goes for our
orses, of which I also bred and showed in performances and at
alter for years as well. It's just, as I said - MY OPINION of why &
hat observation an study has shown me during my involvement.

ubject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] Word correction --

Sorry about my "word mess up understanding" concerning stacking.
The word FOR those 4 legs rather than WITH those 4 legs
would make it a bit more clear to some folks reading my note.
I did indicate WHERE THE POWER BEGINS with or for those 4 legs!
Take your pick, but I think most folks understood what I meant!!
However, it could easily be translated into "the power of transmission
BEGINS in the rear with those 4 legs" --- in other words
 NOT
BEGINNING IN THE FRONT, OR SIDE with those 4 legs!
As in -- we DO have 4 wheel drive in some autos and there
are front wheel drives as well -------- same situation with any
 certain type of movement.

As I mentioned also, dogs needing strong trasmission pretty
much the same as in the sled dogs (4 wheel drive) in my note!
OR placement of the legs in motion - either each of the 4 legs
giving a track - square - depending on the use or original purpose
designated for what ever breed mentioned. Same goes for our
horses, of which I also bred and showed in performances and at
halter for years as well. It's just, as I said - MY OPINION of why &
what observation an study has shown me during my involvement.
TNX for the check up --- Norma no L
