Oh yes...in November I shipped a bitch home (here to Utah) from Seattle after
being bred, and in good shape she weighs 63#...she's a little thing! Airline
people in Seattle demanded a 500 crate. Stud dog owner had no choice, had to
buy one and send her in it. Cost me about $415 to get her home. Airline
people said it was because her ears touched the top of the 400 crate. So if
she'd been a Golden or a Lab, a 400 would have been fine...but since she has
prick
ears, lots of extra cost.
It's a consequence of PETA and their ilk, guys...We need to fight the
PETAphiles on every front while we still can, before they take away what few
rights
we have left with our dogs.
