A b/t can't carry a sable gene. The sable gene is dominant. That means that if it is there, it shows. It can't be hidden. That's what dominant means. To have a sable puppy you must have one sable parent. This is the most simple rule of inheritance...dominant means it is over all others. Recessive means it is hiding and will only show when it meets another recessive gene. This is 8th grade biology, folks.
