I agree Syd.....it is funny how times change. I also showed Dobes way back
when and was once told by a big handler in the breed that there was a time
that they showed Dobes wearing sleeves. I also know that there are still
breeds or at least one breed in the rare breed ring that a judge must not
touch or look in the eye.....when testicles are checked the handler stands
the dog on his back legs and you look but don't touch......things are much
more friendly and safe in the American/Canadian conformation ring now aren't
they.
