if the point were to get the conversation back to helen's original point,  
this is one hell of a convoluted way to do it.
 
"more than a few" is not the majority.  there were problems 3 decades  ago. 
 there are problems now.  there will be problems in 2043.
 
again, just silly.  enough said.  to waste any more  time on this 
conversation would be equally silly.

I was responding to what Helen wrote and trying to get the conversation  
back to where it was started by Helen.


Three decades ago average life spans of more than a few litters WERE 12+  
years. If you think that is the case today I have a pretty gold bridge to 
offer  too.
