i knew helen's don quixote well and he was everything she said and then
some. although i didn't know prince of wales i did know his brother,
vancouver. vancouver was one of the most beautiful GSDs i have ever seen and
i
would have trusted that dog with my life. it's the instinct that's important
to me - not what someone can "train" a dog to do if the instinct isn't
there. both of helen's boys were sound, in every sense of the word, and they
did what they were supposed to do when the situation presented itself.
THAT is a proper GSD.
