As a follow-up...I was advised about the Tylan by my then vet, Prof. Harmon
Rogers, who is now head of the world famous Veterinary college at
Pullman....to not bother checking for bacteria, to give three antibiotics
prophylactically, those being Albon, Metronidazole, and Tylan...These take care
of
everything, LOL, good idea to give acidophilus bacteria too. Syd
