Hi Listers, on the "punishment" to the other dogs -- Well, the time it takes to
shut the one or 2 or so dogs barking to beat the ban, it is very very short and
everyone is fine and quiet. It is with a 50 foot electric extension cord, not
on
batteries. You do not need to have it on all of the time, I didn't, just used
it
when and/or IF I needed it so I really didn't look at it as "punishment" like
with
shock collars etc. As I said, I boarded all kinds of dogs had horses cows
humans visiting etc. etc. Then, some characters would go bananas and it
just quieted them down and I could easily and quickly turn it off, no problem.
I surely wouldn't want to be thought of as "punishing" the kids too much.
