[ SHOWGSD-L ] my heart is breaking

Many of us love our dogs, maybe too much. I have had GSD's since I
was 4 years old (longggg time ago) & they were each & everyone very
special to me. However, rarely, but occasionally, one comes along that
is simply a part of you. Such has been the case with my Legend - he
has been so very special since his birth. Not only was he a beautiful,
intelligent dog but he lived his life only to please me & have my love and
approval.
We said goodbye to him yesterday. It was time, as he was finally to the
stage where his life was no longer pleasent. He had a very serious
back injury while hearding two years ago. We have done everything in
our power to help but it progressively worsened.
