Your membership number never changes, so if you want to access the Members
Only portion of the web site, use the number on last year's card (or the
year before, or the year before that ... you get the point.) If you are a new
member, please email Dania at _GSDCAMembers@xxxxxxxx
(mailto:GSDCAMembers@xxxxxxx) and she'll tell you what your number is -- and
welcome!

I remember when we had to show them to get into the National. Then I
remember when we voted at the Annual meeting, and we had to have our card

in. Then it seemed we had a list and people checking it twice to see if
we
were a member, (since we no longer vote, I am not sure why we keep people
out of the annual meeting). Maybe it is the secret handshake.
I always felt if we let non-members into the annual meeting they would see
how wonderful we were, and join.
Not that there is anything wrong with trying to get people to join.
