We get membership cards? What do people do with them?
I remember when we had to show them to get into the National. Then I
remember when we voted at the Annual meeting, and we had to have our card to
get
in. Then it seemed we had a list and people checking it twice to see if we
were a member, (since we no longer vote, I am not sure why we keep people
out of the annual meeting). Maybe it is the secret handshake.
I always felt if we let non-members into the annual meeting they would see
how wonderful we were, and join.
Not that there is anything wrong with trying to get people to join.
