How did you originally find out it was a aortic arch? Does it show up on the
barium xray.
Could alot of what we think is mega is acutually a aortic arch?

Patty,
Your vet can usually tell if it is a PRAA or Mega with the help of the
barium x-ray. They can see where the vascular band is restricting the
esophagus
on the x-ray. If those pups are caught quick enough, before there is a lot of
damage to the esophagus, they have a good outlook. However, if there is
damage to the esophagus, then they will probably have some regurgitation of
their food for their lifetime.
