Hi List, I have exhausted the search section of aol, can not seem to find the answer I am looking for. My father's maltese Tujo (7yrs old)has been diagnosed with enlarged heart, we are doing a heartworm test today, (this little dog was adopted, who knows if he has heartworm need to rule this out) this little dog is my father's constant companion, he is 86 and still going strong, just need some guidance as to how this is treated, if there is anyone out there that is familiar with this or who has experienced this with a small or large dog. Please email me, any information would be appreciated, My regular vet will not be in till tomorrow would like to have some info before I talk to her. Is an unltrasound absolutely necessary. Thanks in advance, Diane Tujo was put on a broncial dilator med, and robitussen for the cough. ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2005.
