The list has not been hacked, Sheila. Various list members have a
"worm" that they received from other list members or others not on the
list. The "worm" invades the address book and "steals" the
addresses, then sends out spam from the person's address. Showgsd-l
address is in THEIR email address book. NONE Of this goes FROM the
list address and the list program does not allow that email to be
posted. THAT's where it becomes a problem.
People should be careful of opening attachments, always, or going to
links that are questionable.
I am on a Mac, so 99.9% secured from all of this, but still am
very careful about attachments.
