OK, here's another...and I hear the wrong word on TV all the
time..........is it "less" or "fewer" -- do you know when to use the correct
word?
  I hear things like "there are less soldiers" and "he had less votes"  --

newsflash, folks, in both cases, the correct word would be "fewer," because
few (or fewer) is for things that can be counted, and "less" for things that
can't be counted.........i.e.: Â Less space means fewer seats.

    Grrrrrrrrr
I have to shut this down...more and more things keep coming to
mind........not fewer things, more things!!!
