[ SHOWGSD-L ] kids and the death of a beloved dog

No one ever likes this subject but we have all been touched with losing a
special dog. A request was put out on FB for a book for kids to help ease the
pain of losing a pal. I thought it was important to share with everyone. Here

I hope this helps ease some of those tender little hearts. I know it was
horrible for my sweet little boy when we had to put down his "friend" Gretchen
when she was elderly and in poor health. Kids are amazing and if we can help
them through they deal with it very well. Gavin has a new Gretchen now and in
his words "so I never forget my old Gretchen mommy"
