This is one of those "urban" dog legends. I heard this when I was a kids
before Neuticles were invented. It likely did happen somewhere along the line,
but who can say for sure. Unless the owner of the dog in question wants to
admit it, or the judge who found the extra 'ball', I see no reason to do more
than make bad jokes about it.
