1.      If a link asks for a password, the gallery is locked and not 
available for viewing at this time.  The pictures have been uploaded, and the 
photographer is still reviewing his or her work.  Once their edits have been 
completed, the gallery will be unlocked.
 
2.    The watermark across the center of the pictures only appears on the 
website.  Once a picture is paid for, whether as a download or as a print, the 
watermark is removed.  The watermark is specifically placed to partially 
obstruct the images so that they cannot be copied.  Yes, I know it would be 
easier to view images without the watermark, but they would also be easier to 
copy.  German Shepherd Dog owners are not the only folks who view dog pictures 
published on the internet.  This is standard practice by any photographer who 
publishes copyrighted work on the internet.
 
3.    If you don’t see a price list, you have not drilled down far 
enough.  These photos have been organized exactly like the show programs: a) 
by judge; b) by sex; c) by class; and finally d) by competitor.  In each 
competitor’s folder there can be a number of pictures to choose from.  Click 
on the picture you like and a menu of price options will appear.  If the menu 
hasn’t appeared, you haven’t drilled down far enough.  Keep clicking.  
Once you get the hang of it, you’ll just love it.  You can even view a slide 
show of your champion.
 
4.    Not all pictures can be printed to all sizes.  The original pictures 
are all cropped to a 5 by 4 ratio.  Right above the price menu is a box with 
two tabs: one says “thumbnails” the other “info.”  The info box 
reveals the size of the original image.  Depending on the focal length the 
picture was shot, the images range in size from a 1 MG to 35 MG.  
 
a.     If you want to purchase a print, click the >View All Products, then 
>Prints, then >Best Fit.  The program will look at the data available and 
suggest the size that will provide the best printed image results.  If you ask 
for a format that the original image can’t support, the software will tell 
you so.
  
b.    If you want to download and print your own, click >View All Products, 
then >Downloads.  Again, just because you purchase a high resolution download 
does not mean it will “blow up” to an 8 x 10 flawlessly unless the pixel 
density is satisfactory to support a large image. Low resolution images are 
great for social media like Facebook, Instagram, and emails.  If you purchase 
a high resolution download for the intention of printing a large format print, 
make sure the original picture can support that size.   
                                        
                                        
                                        
  
5.     All purchases and views are made through the website.  There is no 
avenue for purchasing pictures outside the site.  If you have an end product 
in mind that currently is not available, just email me and I’ll see what I 
can do to fulfill that request through the site.
 
6.    If you are the owner of a dog/bitch and you absolutely hate a picture, 
contact me through the website and I will remove it. 
 
Finally, the high-quality pictures that appear on Pupparazzi-World.com, shot 
with a professional Nikon D300, represent hundreds of hours invested by a 
photographer, a digital processing software expert, and a webmaster.  At the 
Fremont California show, the photographer, Terry Cochran, shot just north of 
12,500 pictures.  After final editing, only about 400 of those pictures will 
make the cut.
