I don't remember what mouth position James assumed as I've only been able to
get him howling once, but rather than the long drawn out wolfish howl every
other GSD I know does he does a shorted hound dog type bay. Even when I got
him going with my wolves CD all I got was hound-dog. Maybe I can teach him to
sing to Elvis :)

Sarah > Ok, here is what happens when you have too much time on your hands,
waiting for news from the Nationals :-)> I have observed 2 different howling
styles in my dog.? Some make an "O" with their lips to howl.? Others howl open
mouthed.?
