[ SHOWGSD-L ] hemolytic anemia?

Hi All,
My neighbor currently has her 13 1/2 year old Border Collie at the vet
with a tentative diagnosis of hemolytic anemia. She is currently on IV
solution and has had a set of x-rays. The spleen looks okay. He is talking a
possible blood transfusion in the morning. Any help or thoughts at this point
would be greatly appreciated.
