Getting your passport is easy. I got mine 4 or 5 weeks after I sent it in.
It only took my buddy 3 weeks to get hers. It will be longer the longer
you wait now. Everyone who wants one will forget until the end of the year
gets closer and panic. I never liked carrying my birth certificate. I
didn't want to lose it. Come to find out, when I went to the County to get
a copy, they had the WRONG DATE on the one they had. I told them my mother
sure should know what day I was born since she was there, LOL! They took a
copy of MINE and put it in the files. I told my folks and hubby that I
should get birthday presents for 2 days!!! Paperwork is simple and the
picture is easy to get.
