Well, I can assure you as a long time member of the GSDC of Atlanta and North
GA GSDC, I will actively campaign to block any futurity bid by either club
until this is rectified. With the smaller entries required for majors neither
club is in line to make money on shows [with judges' expenses rising every day]
so with the added expense for Futurity trophies it isn't worth the
effort.   Poor management/mismanagement of funds at the Board level is no
reason to pass on those deficits to local clubs already struggling to stay
afloat.Â
Not that its a major deal anymore anyway. With clubs closing down all over
the Country, in the very near future there may not be enough clubs around to
even host Futurities.................. Â
