Kathy's right...not all dogs have the ticking. I didn't see any posts
that said that all dogs without it were dyed...and I was the one who
first brought it up.
I rarely notice such things until they are pointed out to me,
however...and then it is somewhat clear to the eye. Not to mention that
people seem to be not the least bit hesitant to discuss their dye jobs
publicly, and to do the dirty work right out in the open.
Not just coats, but noses, etc.
I think it's more than silly...I think it's stupid. Rich color is one
thing...cheating is fooling who? The judge? The breeder? The person
who wants to improve color and pigment? It really ought to be looked at
and stopped...but then, who judges on color anyway?
