When I judge, I really don't mind doubling so long as it is not disruptive  
to the other dogs.
 
I have been known to tell a handler to tell their client to move (while my  
back was turned), because the dog would not do a down and back straight. It  
would pull to the side toward the owner.
 
However any baiting or doubling that was disruptive to the dogs around it  
would have to come to a halt.
 
When I was handling a Borzoi in the Group I always got stuck with the  
Whippet right behind me. 
 
The handler would wait until the Judge got close enough to see the Borzoi  
and she would squeak that _D#%^&@rat_ (mailto:D#^&@rat)  The Borzoi being the 
hunter  he was would almost leap into the air turning to get the Rat. I don't 
want to  tell you what I would like to have done with that rat. 
 
As far as the rules, IF it was listed in the Premium list that NO DOUBLE  
HANDLING would be allowed at that show. Then Yes, you can be suspended and the  
dog would lose it's points.
 
This REP does need to be reported for her actions,  That's for  sure!!!
 
But always check your Premium list for the  ruling about doubling and  if 
your dog can't be shown without doubling , don't go.
