I received a call from Phil and Tabitha. The temperature overnight was -37. She had a accident with a snow mobiler who ran into her leaders throwing them over the front of the snow mobile. She said they are bruised up and sore but no broken bones. She finished the race and the vets looked at the dogs as soon as she came in.The weather is so bad they shortened the UP 200. Safety for the dogs and the mushers is more important than the race. I have to congratulate them on there decision.
