[ SHOWGSD-L ] dog transport

I am trying to a dog from the VA area to his new family near Iowa City, IA.  Is 
there anyone going that direction within the first couple of weeks of January?  
I'm going to be in Atlanta until December 31st and then I'll be heading back to 
VA.  I will drive to meet someone kind enough to take this boy, though.  This 
is a nice dog who is trying to get to his "permanent" forever home with a 
family.  He's being neutered this Friday, so we do want to give him several 
days to recover before undergoing his "trip" west.
