[ SHOWGSD-L ] dog puking daily

Liddy, nearly 9, has been puking dinner, around 1 to 3 a m most nights, fed at
6
or so.......for about 2 or 3 months now.
She does not seem to loose breakfast, but dinner is wasted on her. I have
tried
allergies, put her on restricted diet to reduce bulk and allergens. No use.
Thought thyroid was it, so normal as to be painfully normal. So that's not it
either.
I am taking her for xrays in an hour, to see if there is cancer or blockage,
that only hurts when it's dark or something.
She is almost never crated. I watch her outside as best I can, she will eat
almost anything. But when I know she has not eaten stupid stuff for 3 days,
she
still pukes.
I am open to suggestions, of any sort. I am tired of cleaning puke when I
should be sleeping. My carpet (old but hubby won't replace) is disgusting,
despite much cleaning. (I may have concrete and no carpet when he gets back
from his ski trip!!!)
Anything that anyone can think of to test for, consider, change,
anything........I don't want her suffering, nor myself for that matter....
