My handler told me that his dogs did great on Purina too. We CO-owned a dog
with him. Our dog died suddenly. After much investigation, all the vets,
the nutritionists, they all concluded the root cause of what happened to him
was the garbage food he was feed. That started the chain reaction that lead
to his death. These are not my words, but well versed people in the field.
My late friend, Pat Turrise, had told me when I started out in shepherds, that
the worst food you can feed a shepherd is Purina. How true those words
were. Keep feeding Purina, I will stick to food that the experts in nutrition
say is good. I will not post further on this topic as I know that a lot of
people will just want to argue. This is my opinion, this was Pat's opinion,
this is a most nutritionists opinion, and I am happy with what I feed and can
sleep at night.
