I remember my Grandma shaving ivory soap to wash cloths, a habit she brought from the depression. 3) a sun oven. Many countries still use these as regular cooking means and it only takes a sunny day to run. 4) a water purifier. I have personal ones that will purify gutter water and even... sewer water, ewww my last choice of water.
