[ SHOWGSD-L ] disasters-being prepared

FEMA will go to the major population hubs first. If you live in the
country do not expect them soon.
Here are a few more suggestions for preparing for a disaster.
1)They will not be bringing dog food, have as much as you can store. You
also may think of adding rice as that is still cheap in bulk to stretch your
supply. Besides, you can add anything to rice and make it a meal.
2) soap. we take this for granted but in some countries it is so rare you
can use it as money. I remember my Grandma shaving ivory soap to wash
cloths, a habit she brought from the depression.
3) a sun oven. Many countries still use these as regular cooking means
and it only takes a sunny day to run.
4) a water purifier. I have personal ones that will purify gutter water
and even... sewer water, ewww my last choice of water.
