While looking at dogs and pedigrees on the GSDReviewed site last night, I got
to thinking who was the first GSD to be OFA hips? Elbows?
So, I wrote to OFA to ask..
this was the reply..
OFA data in the public domain began in 1974 on dogs 24 months of age or older.
Since database entry was done by hand at that time the first hip
number from 1974 is questionable. The first elbow number was assigned to
Fate's Future Fortune, AKC # D862293
