Kathy's post reminds me of a kindness that Leslie performed at one of the NNJ
specialties a couple years ago. A little girl was in the ring with her GSD--a
puppy (I think) that was square and obviously a pet. While they were in the
ring, I watched as Leslie gave this kid some pointers as to how to handle her
dog. (The girl just didn't know.) The judge was also very good with her.
Everyone wanted this little person to have a good experience with her dog in
the ring. And when she took her pup around the ring, we clapped--and I was
clapping for Leslie too--always a class act.
