[ SHOWGSD-L ] can anyone help?

We have a rescue Gordon Setter, Bella, who is in need of a ride north.
She is being placed with an elderly couple in Naples, Maine, and a few
hours knocked off the drive for them would be very helpful. Anyone who
can help, no matter how short the distance would be, please let me know
and I'll get you in touch with the person who is temporarily housing
Bella. The beginning of the journey would be in Culpeper, Virginia.
She will be living with an elderly couple who have a home on a lake.
Their 13yr old Gordon died sometime ago and they have an empty nest.
Their place sounds like a Gordon's dream home!! So lets get the word
out and try and cut down a few hours off of their trip if anyone is
going north. They are planning on coming down the last weekend of this
month.
I must tell you that the Gordon people have been helpful when I've
shared info about lost Shepherds and dogs needing aride, etc., so here's
our chance to help them back...anyone going even from Culpeper area to
Maryland or Pennsylvania ... you could help, too..........
