Only my case, but Shara had no worms(routine paste wormers on the barn
schedule, usually every other month and tube worming 2X per year) and was not
receiving pelleted food, just hay and a custom corn/oat sweetfeed and not much
because if she was a car she would have gotten 100 miles to a gallon! In
addition
she grazed during the day as I only boarded where there was dialy turnout. I
feel this presents a more natural environment as in the wild, horses would
gtaze and travel thus keeping all systems moving as opposed standing in a 10X10
day in and day out. She also received daily carrots, sometimes an apple or a
pear during pre-ride grooming and peppermint candy, (candy canes at Christmas)
for special occasions.
Congratulations on Sabras advanced age. What breed?
