We got lovely dogs from our first breeding to a German dog (one of mine is an akc champion) ...but....when we bred these half German boys to our Ben daughter, WOW, we got some of the best American type dogs we have ever had. They are just gorgeous at 8 months, (usually an ugly age), and they keep getting better. They do not have a top notch specialty side gait, but a very good sidegait, and just dripping with type, character, soundness, and old fashioned beauty.. I like it like that.
