In fact on the back of the school vaccination forms, there is an area that deals with non vaccination due to personal/ or religious beliefs. You are free to not vaccinate, or for that matter to resume vaccinating for a specific illness as you choose. The only caveat is if there is say , an outbreak of a disease at school, that your child will be sent home until the problem has passed. California law is very forward thinking in this matter. TB testing is required however, because of the unchecked influx of illegal aliens into the state. That is fine. It is some individuals that have a problem with it, but it is not up to them, mercifully. Now if we can just get the vets to take the same open minded approach.
