I just visited the Adobe site

Clicked the "Choose a different version" link
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2_allversions.html
Clicked continue after verifying my operating system version and
patches/language
Select the version to download
Click Download Adobe Reader
if your browser does not automatically start downloading click the "click
here to dowload" link Ver8.0
http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/8.x/8.0/enu/sgc10_rdr80_DLM_en_US.exe
Ver 7.08
http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/7x/7.0.8/enu/AdbeRdr708_DLM_en_US.exe
You can either select run to automatically install the software or save to
your local pc and run from there after downloading.
These are large files, about 20mb
