[ SHOWGSD-L ] a real pity party

I was feeling sorry about not going to the nationals but just had a rotten
day today .Hubby Ken has long haired standard dachshunds age 13,had to put
down the male because of eye problems.When they don't have a quality of life
you have to make some hard decisions.He became totally blind in both eyes
with,ulcers,no tears and low pressure also panic attacks. Worked with an eye
specialist for 3 weeks and he became worse not better.may he be met at the
bridge
by all of ours that have gone before. .Rest in peace now our pretty boy
There are some days you wish never happen and this is one.
