First I would have a complete blood panel and vet check. Other food
suggestions would be the satin balls (recipe on the website) and Eukanuba
makes a small can of food designed to help put weight on. It is usually
available from vets...sorry I don' remember the name. Nature's Farmacy
(available on line) makes a supplement called Gain & Shine that works but
first you have to find something the dog will eat as it is a powder that you
add to food. Have you tried cooking a home made chicken stew?
Skinless/boneless chicken thighs, sweet potatoes and veggies. Also have you
tried buying some raw frozen food available at most large pet or feed stores.
The kind I use is meat and veggies in frozen patties or nuggets.
Hope this helps.

Need some suggestions please. I recently had transported to me a 17 week on
GSD. Unfortunately, travel time
to way to long and during that time he was not cared for like he should have
been. While with them he was fed
chicken nuggets and not much water that I can determine. Now he is not
eating much, drinking like mad almost obsessive I tried some beef mixed as
well as chicken mixed in his kibble, would not touch it, He is eating
enough to keep him alive but not enough to put weight on him after his
ordeal. Suggestions as to what to try would be
appreciated. He likes cucumber and raw carrot but that does nothing for his
weight. Not keen on cottage cheese or yogurt either. Forget eggs too. Any
info is appreciated.
