Sally is right. We need to protect the plush toys of this world. They can't
stand up for themselves, and should not be give out to just anyone who
wants to use an electrician. First thing you know, anyone with a plug-in
device will be getting these animals for free. If they are free, how do we
know
the new owners will car for them? What if they had to go to the tailor
for repairs? Would the owners pay the bills? Or would then end up in a
pillow somewhere? They could go to someone who would remove the eyes, or
even tear out the stuffings. I know German shepherds often do that.
What if a shepherd owner decided to buy some light bulbs, and got a free
plush toy. How do we know he won't take it home and let a puppy play with it?
Zoe did us all a great favor by raising awareness about plushable rights
advocates.
Stand up for these toys and let others know we no longer will stand for
it. Or maybe then you need to sit down to not stand up for it.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
